Cleardata Sponsors North East Autism Society Cycle Challenge

Cleardata is delighted to sponsor Ride Infinity, a cycling challenge to support the North East Autism Society, taking place on 15-16th August 2020. The sponsorship will go towards funding kit, supplies and support vehicles.

Ride Infinity Challenge

This year is the charity’s 40th anniversary and they’re hoping to exceed last year’s fundraising total of £10,000. Bob Wood, our Deputy Managing Director will be getting on his bike to complete the 162 mile route, which begins and ends at the Chester-le-Street headquarters and passes through the Pennines, Lake District and Northumberland National Park, tracing the infinity loop logo.

The North East Autism Society was founded to support autistic children and their families in the North East, providing them with high quality services, raising awareness and encouraging acceptance. They aim to help individuals develop their skills and strengths, and participate in society as independent, valued members with access to an abundance of opportunities. The support they provide is innovative and the money raised helps the society to provide bespoke person-centred support. The money raised will help The North East Autism Society further support autistic individuals and their families, including family support groups and therapies.

Fundraising Manager, Kevin Meikle said: “2020 is a very special year for NEAS, because we’ll be celebrating 40 years since the charity was first founded to support autistic children and their families in the North-East.

After the success of our inaugural sponsored bike ride last year, we wanted to do something even bigger and better for the anniversary, and we just loved the idea of tracing a massive 162-mile-long version of our logo across four counties, which we’re calling Ride Infinity.
We’re very excited to be partnering with Cleardata again in order to make the ride a runaway success. Their generous support will help us provide high-quality kit, supplies and support vehicles for our riders. In return, we’ll be proud to display their logo on our kit, website, social media, and celebrate them in all media coverage.”

Bob Wood, Deputy Managing Director, Cleardata said: “It’s so important to support community-based charities in these difficult times. This is why we’re placing our support behind this much needed cause.”
