Cleardata Success – Manchester City Council Scanning & Archiving Framework

Cleardata is delighted to announce that the company has been awarded onto the Manchester City Council TC979 Framework for document scanning and archive storage services. This framework can also be accessed by the Association of Greater Manchester Authorities (AGMA) and its associate members, Manchester Partners and North West England Local Authorities.

There is a growing trend for digital transformation in the public sector, with organisations looking to reduce costs and work more efficiently.  This scanning and archiving framework allows the Council and AGMA organisations to access services at agreed framework prices, with supplier approval for security, accreditations, compliance and social value.

Commonly council’s need to digitise planning, housing, environment, legal, revenue & benefits, finance and HR records. This allows them to free up valuable office space and access information more easily from multiple sites/offices.

Council’s included in the AGMA are Tameside, Bolton, Bury, Manchester, Oldham, Rochdale, Salford, Stockport, Trafford and Wigan Council.

The archive storage and document scanning lots awarded were:-

• Lot 2 – Semi Active Records Storage
• Lot 3 – Scanning & Storage of Planning and Building Control Records and Other Council Departments.

Cleardata provides secure document scanning service from a state of the art scanning bureau, digitising over 4 million images per month.  The company uses Kodak scanning technology and provides 200% quality checking for all scanned images.

The business has secure archive storage premises based near Chester and in the North East of England, which offer enhanced security features including biometric access, Redcare Security, very early smoke detection alert systems and 24 hour CCTV.

Cleardata is accredited for Information Security (ISO27001), Quality Management (ISO9001), Cyber Essentials Plus and Legal Admissibility (BS 1008:2014).
