Cleardata Wins North East Business Award

Cleardata Awarded North East Business Award
Cleardata is delighted to announce its win in the Tyneside & Northumberland Business Awards. The company attended a glittering award ceremony last night at the Marriott Hotel in Gosforth, to be crowned Small Business of the Year.

Cleardata has grown to become the market leader in the North East for document scanning and records management services. Over 75% of the company’s business comes from outside of the region, bringing jobs and revenue to the local economy, with 17 of their 55 staff, recruited through a partnership with Ingeus, helping unemployed people back into work.

The Awards were hosted and organised by the The Journal Newspaper, in association with the North East Chamber of Commerce, and aim to put a spotlight on the inspiring work of local businesses throughout the past 12 months. The short list for the small business awards category consisted of 3 companies, including Cleardata, Orange Bus and Atom Hawk.

The Tyneside and Northumberland heat was the first of three sub-regional events,  the other regions include Durham and Wearside and Teesside. The winners will go on to the regional finals at Hardwick Hall Hotel, Sedgefield on April 23.

David Bryce Managing Director, Cleardata commented “I am delighted to receive this award on behalf of all the team at Cleardata. Our business continues to grow from strength to strength by helping UK businesses to reduce costs and go paperless through a range of digital document management and clever software solutions such as document scanning, digital mail room, cloud document management, automated invoice processing, scan-on-demand archiving and web application development.”
