Cleardata’s New £1.5m Archive Storage Facility is Now Open for Business
Cleardata is thrilled to announce its brand new archive storage facility on Hawarden Business Park, in the Deeside Enterprise Zone, near Chester is now officially open for business.
Ken Skates AM, Cabinet Secretary for Economy and Infrastructure officially opened the building on Friday 30th June, along with English International Footballer Michael Owen.
After the initial ceremony with the cutting of the ribbon, guests were invited to tour the new secure archive premises. Demonstrations were carried out to learn about additional services that the company provides, such as invoice processing, electronic document management, document scanning and online archive management.
The £1.5 million pound investment, backed by a £304,000 Property Development Grant from the Welsh Government, will add extra operational space and archive storage capacity to the company’s national footprint, featuring 22,000 square ft of secure archive storage, document scanning and office space.
Cleardata’s existing premises are currently situated in the North East of the country, standing as one of the largest document scanning bureaus in the UK. The company helps to transform manual paper processes for businesses using document scanning and archiving services, combined with clever software solutions that help cut costs through automatic data capture, workflow automation and cloud document management.
The new premises have been designed to a high specification, with enhanced Redcare security and fire systems, including 24/7 CCTV, biometric fingerprint entry, very early smoke detection alert (VESDA) systems, water detection and temperature control.
Cleardata is externally certified to a number of BSI standards including ISO27001 Information Security, ISO 9001 Quality Management, Cyber Essentials and BS 10008:2014 for Legal Admissibility of Electronic Information. The business works closely with the public and private sector.
