We offer secure microfilm scanning services, microfiche scanning services and aperture card scanning services for all industries, combining expert document handling with advanced technology to deliver quality results for businesses of any size.

Our drivers will collect your aperture cards, microfiche and/or microfilm from any UK location using our fully-tracked fleet of vehicles. They will then be diverted to our scanning bureau, where every movement will be tracked using clever barcode technology.

Your aperture cards, microfiche and/or microfilm will then be carefully scanned, producing high-resolution digital imagery that can be viewed and read by authorised personnel, where appropriate. These images will then be converted into your chosen format, such as TIFF, JPEG or PDF.

These digital records will then be indexed by our team. This will make it easier for our clients to search through an entire catalogue of archived files in order to retrieve specific images efficiently and in a timely manner.

We will return your converted and fully indexed files to complete the last stage in our Aperture card scanning, microfiche scanning and microfilm scanning process. We can return your records via one of the following methods: CD, DVD, memory stick or a secure FTP site.

Yes, SPS can collect microfilm, microfiche and aperture cards from your UK premises using our fleet of tracked vehicles. Our systems ensure a full audit trail, from collection through to digitisation and data return.

Digitised microfiche and microfilm will be sent via secure means, such as SFTP (Secure File Transfer Protocol), upload to OneDrive, or SharePoint. The means of return will be agreed as part of the specification process.
